The mountains stare at us expressionless, patient, mirroring and holding us with their magnificent strength while reminding us of our crippling fragility.
Feeling their earth, their space and their vast, scary, emptiness.
I imagine what they might say to me.
~
"Close your eyes my dear.
Relax your nerves.
Find the space in between your breath, let go of your precious illusions and enjoy the
stillness there.
Remember yourself.
Remember the lessons you forgot, the ones that were taught to you many moons ago.
This is all but a dream.
Nothing ever is because nothing ever was.
You know not to get caught up in these small matters.
Sit here in my palm for as long as you need, for time is also an illusion you can let go of.
Come back to your blissful heart and feel with all of your soul that you are ok.
You are ok now, tomorrow, forever and forever and forever."
